Former Kranji galloper and stable favorite Divided House gave birth to her first foal this week. Retired from racing and returning to Australia for Divided House stable manager Mark Chadwick, it was decided by Mark that her first “date” would be with new Snitzel stallion Wandjina who stands at Newgate Farm. Wandjina defeated a crack field to win the Australian Guineas at Group 1 level. The resulting mating has produced a lovely athletic filly.

Divided House was from the first crop of boom stallion I Am Invincible, and was a great advertisement for Singapore racing, having raced 23 times for 5 wins, 6 seconds and 3 thirds for stake money of over $314,000. The Divided House Stable colour’s are currently being flown with distinction in Singapore through the deeds of exciting mare Filibuster, a winner of 3 of her 6 starts, and the consistent gelding Tales Of Summer who has had two wins and numerous placings this year.

Over the past couple of  years Mark has been setting up a 150 acre horse property in Western Australia which he has named Shelbourne Park. Divided House joined her older half sister Zac Seduction which Mark purchased after she finished racing in Singapore, as part of his current 8 strong broodmare band. Zac Seduction has a two year old colt by Choisir which Mark sold at the yearling sales, and has a yearling by Casino Prince and is in foal to Divine Prophet. Divided House’s next date will be with Newgate’s stallion Extreme Choice, himself a Blue Diamond winner.
