Olympian stable had an astonishing 7 days having three runners for 3 winners from Friday 18th of November to Friday 25th of November. Starting off the great roll was the highly promising 4 year old by Showcasing, Deimos. With Stable rider Michael Rodd suspended, stand in jockey Vlad Duric produced a pearler of a ride in torrential rain to land the Classs 3 over 1100m on Friday evening. Simoly to good for his rivals Deimos
Super consistent mare Athena claimed her second victory on Sunday 19th in a class 4 over 1400m. In all 13 starts Athena has only finished outside the top 3 on one occasion. After a second wind operation mid year it has been fantastic to see Athena win two of her last three starts. She has now taken her stake earnings over $161,000.
Rounding out the trio of victors was one of Manager Astley Phua’s favorite horses Ares, who returned to the winners stall to land his 4th victory in Singapore. Astley was at the Tattersalls Horses in Training sale when Ares (previously named Hard N Sharp) was purchased. Lovingly nicknamed “The Gangster” by Astley due to Ares often exuberant behavior around the stable and in the mounting yard, the son of Approved stormed home for a brilliant victory with Michael Rodd aboard in the Open Benchmark 67 over 1400m. Ars has now won a tick under $250,000 in stake money.
