The ever consistent 4 year old Nadeem gelding Certainly came with a withering burst to win the class 4 over 1800m on Sunday 5th of February. The Auric owned galloper has been a model of consistency since arriving in Singapore and scored his 3rd win to go along side his 6 seconds and two thirds from 18 starts. Taking his stake earnings above $200,000, it again highlights the great return to owners racing a horse in Singapore.

Ridden again by Micheal Rodd, Certainly was snagged back after jumping to settle 3rd last. Under instructions to hold him up for as long as possible, Rodd tracked into the race and pulled the big bay out at the 200m and he unleashed a devastating sprint to win by 1.5 lengths. Post race Rodd admitted to going to early at his last ride on Certainly, and the ease of his win suggests that he should be in the winners stall in the very near future.

Purchased by Cliff at the Inglis Ready to Race Sales in 2015 for $80,000, Certainly remains a lightly raced 4 year old who has plenty of upside. Auric stable have been great supporters of Cliff Brown Racing and they’re famous red and yellow colours are sure to feature prominently again this racing season
